Introduction I know most of you have been waiting for this so here it goes... Hello, my name is Elliot otherwise known as Chipemunk. I am currently a helper moderator on Minetime (Mineverses’ sister server). I tend to play on Mineverse often and mostly play on PVP servers as I do not hack which may sound strange as I am a staff member on a hacking server. I like art, animals and playing Minecraft. I have many reasons I believe I should be mod... I believe I should be moderator because I really do care about Mineverse and it's community, I want to be able to make it a place everybody can enjoy and have fun like as much as I do and to be able to help it grow even more. I would love to contribute my ideas and presence to the staff team. With me being in a EU timezone I am online when other moderators are not. I would be able to punish hackers and rule breakers and to provide assistance to players when other moderators cannot due to their timezone. I believe I would be an asset to the staff team and would be honoured to take on the responsibilities of moderator. Here are some traits I would bring to the staff team: •Enthusiastic• I am Hardworking and enthusiastic. I am always eager to be involved with opportunities and to meet new people, I love helping out with events and extracurricular activities at school. I always sign up to be apart of things like open evenings, clubs and any senior student role. For example last year I joined a debate team at my school we won a regional competition and then got the opportunity to compete at Oxford University, this taught me to have more self confidence and to always believe in myself. I will always deliver what is expected of me and never fail to disappoint. Once I put my mind to something I am always determined to achieve it and if I don't I see it as a learning curve. ~ •Helpful• Being helpful is a very important trait to become mod, as a mod you are the one person everyone relies on and turn to when a player needs assistance and I am happy to provide that even without the tag. I genuinely love to help people out and always answer any question a player asks and if I don't know how to answer their question I will say so. ~ •Positive• One trait that people often describe me as is that I am Positive and resilient, I can say I am a very positive person. I never let anyone get me down or give into something and always try to remain positive no matter what the situation is ~ •Experience• With being a staff member on minetime this has given me the necessary experience to learn how to use staff commands and to deal with certain situations. I can make a punishment without any delay, I am quick thinking. I pride myself for this I am always open to people asking me questions and I am very approachable. I always value friendships and never abuse them. I also am considerate of others and am highly sensitive of others feelings, I can put myself into others shoes to see how they feel. As a mod I would be committed to making people's experience on Mineverse the very best it can be so they then come back again and again. ~ •Mature• I am a mature person I’m not the type of person to trash talk or use profanity and try my best to stay way clear of drama and arguments. I make sure I use grammar correctly and spell properly it is not the most important thing in the world but to me it shows professionalism. ~ •Active• I genuinely enjoy playing this server and care about it. I play almost everyday and can be on for a long time. When online I never really see any moderators online and I always see rules being broken and nobody being around to take care of the issue or there is someone who needs to speak to a mod, I'm able to be on when other mods are not. ~ •Fun• I do like to joke around and have fun because at the end of the day that's what most people come on the server for, to have fun. I like to make players feel welcomed. If all the world was serious it would be very boring. I would not be a mod to be fearful of I would be one everyone can turn to. I am a mature person and I know where the line is drawn and when to stop. ~ •Trustworthy• I could never ever abuse someones trust I always no matter what stick to my word, Its not the type of person I am. I always know if something is confidential it is privet. When I tell a lie I get this big cloud of guilt above me so I always know for everyone's sake it is best telling the truth. ~ How long can you be active on the server everyday? Weekends- 2-6 hours Weekdays- 1-2 hours How long have you been playing Mineverse? I joined the server quite a while back in 2014 but only properly started playing earlier last year Have you ever been banned in the past? (Forums & In-game) Yes, I was banned but it was a misunderstanding and then the mod unbanned me straight away(I'm not going to say their name) Do you have any past experience as a moderator? Yes I am currently helper on Minetime, I do not plan of leaving the team at all I love it there. I love moderating for servers so this is why I have applied today. One thing. Support. Really friendly on here and experienced via staff in noobs other server. (We all predicted you would apply and I'm happy you did. Hopefully we can both get promoted alongside each other.)
Make more reports. Also, why not just stay with Minetime. What's the point of having mod on both servers, how do we know you'll be active on both.
