We all have dumb thoughts and I want to hear yours. Any thought, no matter how strange, is welcome. To start, Humans are just a bendy straw with multiple holes and random lumps on the side.
If the entire world operated with a very strict one-child policy the human race would go extinct within 31 generations. When you take into account people who won't have a child for various reasons such as being undesirable and dying this number would drop drastically.
ehh that's still a long time, each generation is what? 20 years, so that would mean we would have 620 or so years. We also have to consider if the remaining humans can sustain themselves.
You ever think that maybe everyone sees colours differently? Like what we see as red, someone might see it as black, but they know it as red. But we will never know? Honestly keeps me up at night.
What I call green might not be perceived as the same as what you call green. Then you factor in color blindness. We might call what is two distinct colors by one name without knowing it. Maybe there is more in the blackness that we can not discover
Ok, but mantis shrimp; humans have three different light cones in their eyes to see color. They have a wooping 12. We are inferior to a shrimp of all things Spoiler: Info Graphic
I once thought that if I were to run as fast as I could for 5 mins without stopping I would be going so fast I would start to hover over the ground lmfao. (I was like 8 cut me some slack)
