Dubtrack ♪ Join Mineverse's dubtrack room here. It's a cool social DJ site where you can chat while playing music publicly. Big thanks to @CypriotMerks and @Exstatisfy for creating the room for us. On Dubtrack there is an emoji system. Here is the link to the cheat sheet so you are able to use them in the dubtrack chat: http://www.webpagefx.com/tools/emoji-cheat-sheet/ What are dubs? ♪ Dubs are ways to determine how active certain members are. View the amount of dubs you have by clicking the members tab, then going to your name. As you can see, I have 3469 dubs in this photo. This means I have received and given a total of 3469 dubs. The way you gain a dub is by clicking the blue arrow-up-looking-button in the middle (or receiving up votes on your songs). If you don't like a song, you can click the magenta down dub button. It is against the rules to start bashing a song and spamming "skip" in the chat, so that is the way you can silently leave your opinion on the song currently playing. Ranks ♪ There are several ranks on dubtrack, mostly regarding moderation. In the past we would give out ranks regarding the amount of dubs you have (50 dubs -> DJ | 200 dubs -> Resident DJ). This feature has been removed because of issues within Dubtrack that we are unable to fix. Once a user was given one of these ranks, staff were unable to mute/ban them. The issue has been spoken about with a Dubtrack Admin and we're hoping for a fix in the future so ranks can be given out once again. You can apply for a staff position on this thread: Official Mineverse Dubtrack The position of VIP is mainly given out when first promoted. It is basically a trial-mod rank with the ability to skip songs. Once a VIP has proven they are responsible with taking care of the dubtrack, they can be promoted to Moderator with more abilities such as ban/muting users. For those wishing to staff on the Dubtrack, it is important to be familiar with how to moderate and that is why @Exstatisfy has a Dubtrack Moderation Guide.
