I'd like to mention that I do not know if there is anything that you guys can do about this. There is a bug in Tapatalk which allows you to receive notifications for threads that you wouldn't normally be able to see, due to lack of perms. This only works if you are subscribed to/watching the subforum of which the thread was posted. For example, I'm subscribed to the 'Report a player' subforum from my time as a moderator. I never unwatched it because I found it pretty pointless, considering I wouldn't be receiving any notifications. But I noticed that when I got Tapatalk today, it was sending me notifications that the threads were being posted. No, I was not able to view the threads themselves, as I was being thrown a message saying I did not have proper permissions. But it did give me the title and a short preview of the thread's contents underneath the title. An example of which this could be bad is the moderator subforum. If a moderator were to watch all the forums within the moderator subforum, they would be getting notifications anytime a new thread was posted inside of there and they would be able to see a short preview of what was said in the thread. I have not personally been able to test this, as I'm not subscribed to the moderator subforums, but I'm assuming that it would work this way too. I recommend finding a fix for this, and if incapable, contact Tapatalk regarding it.
Unfortuneatly there is nothing we can actually do about this however we thank you for your report, hopefully in future updates of the TapaTalk program this will be patched.
