Having mingled in Youtube for a little has allowed me to pick up some useful skills! I use ShadowPlay to record video clips along with Movavi screen capture studio to record and edit longer videos. I stream from time to time using OBS when I have the time as well. I use Gyazo to take quick screenshots in game and on web applications. Why do you think you should become a mod? There is an abundant amount of reasons I want to become a moderator on Mineverse again but here are the main ones. For starters, I love the Mineverse community and I want to help out in more than just what I'm capable of doing now. I want people to have a pleasant experience on Mineverse to walk away with at the end of the day, to give them a reason to login and want to play on our network. To do this I will do my best to create a better environment for the player base by getting rid of toxicity in game along with those pesky hackers who keep popping up every day. I will also voice my opinion and concerns as they arise to my attention which I realize a lot of people are shy of doing. Here are some traits that best define who I am. Professionalism. I take work seriously, however that doesn't mean that I don't enjoy having fun. A good balance of worth ethics along with conduct can be maintained into a good play style that can turn a Moderator into a great leader to set the example for the community. This is the role model I strive to be. This also brings us into our next trait here, Maturity is definitely a trait you want each of your moderators to have. It proves to the community that the person they look up to is reliable and assures them that their server is being taken care of properly. Being 19, (20 in two months), along with currently serving in the USMC, has taught me how to maintain respect for authority and keep a tight and tidy demeanor. Active Note that I am currently in Japan where the timezone is almost the exact opposite as in the states, however this is a good thing. I can be online when most other moderators are sleeping which will help provide 24/7 coverage on the server to address any discretion's. Responsible Being a Lance Corporal, I have other marines under my wing that I set the example for. They trust in me to do my duty properly so they can do theirs. Also being away from my family for over a year has taught me to be independent and judge situations accurately and effectively. Knowledgeable .Having prior experience staffing on Mineverse along with experience being a moderator on the Mod pack "The Crafting Dead." I have a great laydown of the server rules and guidelines players should follow. I also have my CompTIA Security Plus certification in cyber security and my 0671 Data System Administrator Certification for the Marine Corps. In these courses it teaches about protecting your personal information along with setting up network security at a college + level. How long can you be active on the server everyday? For the week days I can manage 2+ hours in game and 3+ hours on the forums while on the weekend I can be on for 4+ hours in game and 6+ hours on the forums per day. Mineverse As some of you may know I was also staff on Mineverse for a few months before resigning. My resignation reason was that I was leaving for Marine Corps Boot camp for 3 months.
