Yeah that's true. I obviously can't have a 400 dollar PC with parts that are some of the best out there in the current market. I'm trying to get a custom PC that has a reasonable price but not something that's going to be worth 1500 dollars like that's a big stretch for my budget. I don't have much money and I want a custom pc that is a good entry build while having some good specs at the least

Nice build Ill swap some components with the one in that. What's wrong with HDD and SSD together? I like the RAM and will definitely change it.

But then what's the problem with the HDD. apart from being slower? I'm not going to use a lot of space for the SSD

No problem having a cheap HDD for storing random stuff, I have a 2T for torrents, 2T for photos a few other for random stuff, so nice having not to worry about space. Just put all your your games and OS on the SSD.

On one of my builds, I would have a 1 TB HDD and a 120 GB SSD. My original plan was to use the SSD to house the OS, any critical files, and games. Whereas the HDD would be used to store all my other crap

Everything in the build looks solid.

For $750 you can't get much better than that.

    With that budget,
    https://pcpartpicker.com/list/bGjGXv
go for this, u dont really need and SSD if u dont care about load up speed, 2TB fast HDD.
Spend the money on a 2070 GPU, with a AMD 5 Ryzen 2600.

I don't know if I need to point this out but I felt like mentioning that with the current board in your build, you don't have wifi capabilities. This is no problem if you are planning to just use ethernet but if you don't have an ethernet port where you were planning to set up the PC or were expecting to use wifi, you will need a wireless networking card for that.

Something like this would do fine. It just uses a PCIe x1 port on the motherboard so that shouldn't be too hard to accommodate.

This is incredibly subjective to the requirements of a user and has no real standard. A single SSD is fine, and a SSD/HDD combination is fine too.
Generally not recommended to suggest components outright without an background information on the chosen parts provided by the user, or without having an understanding of what the user will be doing with the computer. So to just recommend a 2070 outright is a bit silly.
Provide more information in your thread (don't comment it, edit your thread). A $600 - $900 budget computer can have hundreds of different component combinations. To choose the optimal components we require more information such as what you intend to do with the computer (gaming (and if so what games), graphics art, editing, etc).
