IGN/Team Name: KingslyAce Map Name: No Mercy Rooftop Gamemode for Map: Infection Description of Map: A simple and contact map. It's a rooftop of a hospital that contains multiple HVAC systems and little signal hide-outs amazing for players to camp in. It requires a lot of teamwork in order for humans to win, the strategy is for one person to be defending multiple sides where zombies can't get through. No OP spots are added on this map, but there is a lot of hiding spots for zombies to really explore the map and look around. I wanted this gameplay to become as fair as possible for many players to enjoy. A lot of work was put into this map and I hope you guys take it into suggestion that this is what we need for infection players and for more players to join in! Screenshots/Recording: I ran into so many problems trying to upload more images so here is an imgur link that I hope will work. http://imgur.com/a/nuIUE Other extra info: If you guys would like to know where this map is, go to creative and type / p h _SeRi_ Fly VERY HIGH it should be their.
Okay so /p h _SeRi_ in order to check out the map, once you reach their in creative fly very high youll see a building thats floating. C: srry vaxix xD No Op spots, just a few air conditioners you can camp on and just bow the zombies, this map is really even and fair for players which makes the game more intense xD
Neutral -Not many hiding spots (I might of not found all of them) -Looks nice in video (from shaders) but its a bit plane without shaders. -Floor and walls could use more detail.
Thank you for your feedback. There are many hiding spots that i've placed inside multiple rooms, you can hide behind spawn and choose areas were zombies will most likely not go like the corners or on the helicopter or under the helicopter pad. This map is meant to be wide open and technically everything without shaders look plain, comparing anything to shaders. it makes it look more alive which is why I chose to use shaders. Many buildings realistically do not have this much detail and rooms ontop of a hospital rooftop, it's based off a video game called Left 4 Dead and I tried to replicate it which is the reaosn why I chose stone to be part of the main block. It helps blend things together and adds more realism to it and believe me, i've tried other blocks and it just ruins the concept of the rooftop. I also did not want to go insane over the floor so I added small touches of andesite which makes it look more real. Overall I wanted this map to be as clean as possible and I agree with you in many ways but maybe a second look at it might change your mind. c: ty
Support, nice concept! The screenshots may not be enough, but I think the video covered those parts. I like it c:
