Very frankly, the ability to abuse /minecraft:me and /minecraft:tell to bypass /ignore is not acceptable at all. I have three players doing it to me to harass me and directly talk to me when I want them as far away from me as possible. The rule, as I see it, should go as follows: If you use /minecraft:me or /minecraft:tell to DIRECTLY bypass /ignore, you can receive a week long ban. Repeated use will warrant longer and longer bans. Then report them at http://www.mineverse.com/forums/report-a-player.86/ but I am not supporting the week long ban. I prefer that the owners remove the permissions from all the players except some (mods/admins).
I already reported one of the players, but it got denied for a lack of evidence. To be honest, I could have used better screenshots, but I couldn't find them. The removal of those commands altogether and restriction for staff only... I don't see that happening, since it's technically a vanilla command. If it was possible to outright remove the commands at all, I'd support that, but so far, the main way to restrict the use of these commands is to make them operator only commands. Which, at least to me, isn't the answer. I stand by my bans, but I can understand your opinions, and agree to disagree.
Just saying NO SUPPORT, just fix the essentials plugin to make /minecraft:me and /minecraft:tell to not bypass the /ignore.
How about using these commands at all result in a 1 week tempban and like he said continues to get longer if the offense is repeated?

If you don't like it then unignore the player or go to another server because it's not our fault you decided to ignore us for the stupidest reasons.
